Paul 'PJ' Jankovic - Bass
Having decided against high school classroom teaching and upgrading his major from guitar to bass midway through his studies, Paul graduated in 1998 with an Honours Degree in Jazz Performance from the University of Adelaide.
On electric and upright bass, Paul has spent the last 10 years working as a jazz sideman, pit musician, manager and session player across the genres. He has toured nationally, performed internationally and along the way developed a love for theatre, bluesy jazz and funk.
A driving force behind the new sound of Sukatash as it developed from its jam band origins, Paul has brought his strong sense of structure and tough, no-nonsense grooves to the new fusion.
