Vashti Tyrrell - Saxophone/Clarinet/Flute

With a degree in architecture under her belt, Vashti spent 3 years based in London, where she decided to pursue her love for music, establishing herself as a saxophonist playing with notable UK jazz musicians.

On her return to Australia she attended the Elder Conservatorium, completing a degree in Jazz. Since then she has played with a diverse range of international groups including The Drifters (US), Steve Torme (US) and Hal Frasier (US).

Melodically gifted, with an intrinsic intuition for all that’s hip.
